Employee Voices Shape the Future of IST's Community Outreach
Hanging With Hal
At its core, our IST Gives Back community outreach program reminds us that community impact starts with an individual caring about something outside themselves. The 2025 Gives Back Awareness Survey has offered an honest and illuminating look at what initiatives, charities, and ideas our team values most. The IST family is united by a shared cause, a genuine commitment to helping others. Out of the 45+ favorite organizations shared, the most popular were those related to health and disease, with animal welfare coming in second. To categorize the many submissions we received, we grouped organizations into categories: humanitarian, homelessness prevention, children in need, military and veteran support, LGBTQ+, and human trafficking survivors.
A Holistic View of Service
This year’s survey results reveal that our area of service interest continues to expand. Our team’s passions reach far beyond any one city, state, or cause. From an animal rescue group in New Hampshire to humanitarian organizations working across the globe (United Way, MANNA), our employees are deeply involved in making a difference — not only in their own communities but in the lives of people across the world.

Health, wellness, and disease prevention or research are one of our largest areas of interest, with support for organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the American Heart Association. Some more other health organizations we received support for are NAMI, The Bobby Dodd Institute, and The Miracle League.
The survey also highlighted our team’s compassion for animal welfare, with groups such as PAWS Atlanta, K9 for Warriors, and ASPCA making frequent appearances. Others emphasized support for veterans and military families, children’s health and education, LGBTQ+ equality, and humanitarian aid worldwide.
IST’s commitment to service is as diverse as our workforce. Our employees care deeply about a wide range of issues, both local and international, and that diversity of passion is what gives IST Gives Back its success.
Transitioning into 2026 with New Initiatives
Wrapping up 2025, IST Gives Back will continue to listen and act with purpose. Our goal is to spotlight more personal stories and organizations. Whether through local site initiatives or national campaigns, diversifying our impact remains a goal.
This data confirmed what we’ve always known; IST’s people are the center of our strength! Your compassion, diversity of thought, and drive to make a difference shape not only how we serve our clients but how we serve our communities. Thank you for sharing your personal stories, your experiences, and the causes close to your heart. Together, we’ll continue to bridge communities through shared purpose and service with heart.
