I am beyond thrilled by the huge effort and incredible generosity of IST employees, friends, family, and people like you, to help people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) live longer.
I want to extend a huge congratulations to the fabulous fundraisers and city teams for helping to raise money for research and to find a cure for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF.) Some day we will end this horrid disease that impacts so many people.
Let's give a special shout-out to Lori Mitchum, Vice President of Human Resources, who did another fantastic job ensuring another successful season in the books. She's a real pro! Let's also congratulate our 22 city teams and registered walkers throughout the nation who did so many different and creative things to help raise funds. This year we raised $24,180, which is magnificent! Over the last 15 years, we raised over $300,000 for this worthy cause.
I've shared below our top five fundraisers for 2023. The top 5 fundraisers will choose one of four prizes, including a Nintendo Switch OLED, Apple iPad 9, Amazon Kindle Scribe, and a $300 Amex gift card plus a free day of PTO. Very cool!
Congratulations to our corporate Facility Manager, Bob Dunham, for winning our raffle, chosen from all employees who raised $100 or more. Bob won a weekend getaway in Atlanta, including a two-night stay in a hotel and dinner for two!
Congratulations to Bonnie Brown from Warren, Ohio, for winning the raffle from those who purchased $20 tickets. Bonnie won a 4-day, 3-night stay and an amazing experience at the Atlantis Paradise Island Hotel in the Bahamas!

According to the CFF, nearly 40,000 people live with Cystic Fibrosis in the U.S. It is a genetic disease that attacks the lungs and impedes breathing. The good news is that donations for research have resulted in significant advancements, including a longer, better quality of life.
IST may have a season for our cystic fibrosis fundraising efforts; however, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation works tirelessly every day throughout the year to find a cure for CF. You can help at any time with a monetary donation directly to CFF, here.
