Since 1958, Eckert Seamans has always provided the right mix of skills and services to give their clients proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. Now Eckert Seamans was looking for the same in their own internal support needs. The firm required a business partner that could -

The Solution


With multiple offices and remote employees providing services to their clients, Eckert Seamans partnered with IST to standardize support processes for greater efficiency and communication between offices and remote employees.


  • Implemented a central hub Using IST’s proprietary software IST Suite all offices and remote employees were connected enabling a centralized virtual location.  
  • IST-Suite enabled all end-users to request copy jobs and request services. Now, anyone needing records or documentation could depend on the IST employees in the office to pull, scan, and return documents for themselves and clients. Since these requests were digital, IST was able to balance the workflow across all offices and free up IST staff to help other department needs without overburdening one location.
  • Mail and packages were delivered to remote employees
  • IST also assisted with on-site computer needs and implemented an electronic mail solution.
  • Eckert Seamans’ mail and copy centers have gone digital and their on-site support with IST is more than prepared to handle business needs in the coming years.
  • IST employees were also available to provide legal administrative duties such as marking-up and assembling documents for clients.


Now Eckert Seamans’ office services are fully integrated with each office and each remote attorney and staff.
