One of the many tools we utilize at some of our locations is IST Service Track. Service Track allows us to, regardless of vendor or provider of equipment, track service calls and see the history of different pieces of equipment at a client location.
When used correctly, we are able to help our clients in monitoring whether their equipment vendor is maintaining their contractual obligations with regards to service response times. We are also able to identify “problem” devices and provide statistics to back any claims for having equipment replaced at no charge to our clients.
With IST Service Track, we are able to combine this information with the information available in our Monthly Management Reports so that we can make suggestions to our clients on when and where to move devices around their office, minimizing long term wear and tear on the equipment and maximizing “up time” for their end users.
Another interesting use of IST Service Track is using it for non-traditional equipment. We can monitor kitchen appliances for example, which can be of great use in a location that has multiple kitchens we help stock and support.
At the end of each month, the information entered into IST Service Track has its own section in our Monthly Management Report so that it can be reviewed with our client contacts on a regular basis. These conversations are beneficial, as it ensures that all service levels are being met as well as making sure all of the client’s equipment is functioning as efficiently as possible.
