Joe is the Regional Operations Manager in the Greater Boston Area, responsible for IST’s Integrated Facilities Management clients and staff. He ensures that staff are committed to providing the highest level of service to clients.
A highly driven individual, Joe has over 25 years’ experience in the field of Operations Management. Serving clients and employees with passion, he actively works to encourage all staff to present themselves with the utmost professionalism at all times. He directs his efforts into renewing all contracts, adding staff whenever possible and leveraging the team’s success to grow the market even more. His goal is to one day have all Manager positions held by team members who have been promoted from within the organization.
Prior to IST, Joe worked at DTI/Epiq for 11 years, spending the last 4 years as the Operations Manager of New England. In 2014 he was promoted to Operations Manager of New England, where he managed locations that were recognized as Site of the Year in 2015 and 2016.
Previous to coming to New England, Joe worked at Motley Rice, in Charleston, SC, one of the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ litigation firms for 7 years where he was recognized as Site Manager of the Year in 2009.
One of his greatest achievements with IST, has been a Northeastern University client say, “This fall move in is the best one I have ever seen.”
Joe’s drive serves him well not just as Regional Operations Manager, but in his outreach efforts as well. For the last two years Joe has been one of the top 5 fundraisers for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is also an advocate and supporter of Goodwill Industries, having worked there as the Director of Transportation and Warehousing.
Originally from Atlanta, Joe attended The Citadel in Charleston, SC, where he was a Citadel Scholar and a member of the Honors Program.
Joe likes to play golf, competitively when possible – he won a national amateur tournament in October 2014. He has one son who is married and who is a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force.
