Transition Methodology
All implementations are unique for each new client.  However, IST has put into place the process needed to implement new sites quickly and without stoppage in the client’s current system.  IST, alongside the client contact, will come up with a schedule of events.  Since IST is completely flexible, we will be able to model our implementation around the needs of our clients.  Implementation can be done in a few days or can take up to six weeks.  It all depends on how the client needs us to implement their location.  IST follows the following nine-step methodology to ensure a smooth and successful transition:

  1. Put it down in writing - We build a sophisticated implementation manual of every step, every deadline, every piece of equipment, and every detail necessary to ensure a successful transition of services.
  2. Assign a Senior Implementation Manager - this person will remain on-site throughout the entire implementation process starting two weeks prior to the “Go Live Date”, to 4 weeks afterwards.
  3. Have a transition period - A transition period that overlaps with the current operation ensures transparency to your end users.  IST will overstaff during this process at no additional cost to you!
  4. Have weekly meetings - Planning and communication is essential.  Every week from the time you decide to go with IST, we get together with you to discuss progress and future action steps.
  5. Daily communications - Your assigned Implementation Manger will send nightly emails and updates of each day’s events and actions that have been completed.
  6. Choose the staff - What kind of staff is necessary to meet your company’s needs?  Do we absorb your current employees or staff with our associates?  If desired, we meet with your staff to discuss the options.  IST will always allow you, the client, to meet each candidate if desired.
  7. Communicate with end users - Because change can be unsettling, we inform all of your employees of the transition along with you.  Printed User Guides to our services and periodic communiqués keep everyone in the loop.
  8. Measure your success - IST produces a 30-day evaluation report to demonstrate that we are exceeding your expectations.
  9. IT implementation – A member of IST’s IT team comes on-site during the implementation to install and test our technology systems prior to go-live.
